John Wick (Reeves), who just lost his wife Helen (Moynahan) to cancer, receives a gift from her posthumously in the form of a puppy named Daisy, along with a letter from her saying she arranged for him to have Daisy to help him cope with her demise. Initially indifferent to Daisy, he eventually connects to the puppy as they spend the day driving around in his vintage '69 Mustang. He encounters a trio of Russian gang members at a gas station and their leader Iosef (Allen) insists on buying his car, but John refuses to sell and makes a snide remark at Iosef before leaving. The three follow John to his home, break in at night, and attack John, who watches defenselessly as they kill Daisy before stealing his car. The following day, Iosef attempts to have the car modified by Aureilo (Leguizamo), the owner of a chop shop who refuses to take it and hits Iosef when realizing who it belonged to and what Iosef did to steal it. John subsequently visits Aureilo, who tells him Iosef is the son of Viggo Tarasov (Nyqvist), head of the Russian crime syndicate in New York and John's former employer, before lending him another car. Aureilo, who works with Viggo, is forced to explain what happened to Viggo, who berates Iosef and explains who John Wick is: his best assassin, nicknamed the "Boogeyman", who, before retiring to care for his dying wife five years prior, helped Viggo gain control of his syndicate by single-handedly eliminating the competition.
Viggo, wanting to protect his son, attempts to talk John out of seeking retribution. When John refuses to talk, Viggo sends a hit squad to John's house to execute him, but John swiftly kills the entire squad. Viggo then puts a $2 million bounty on John and first gives the offer to Marcus (Dafoe), a veteran assassin and John's mentor, who begrudgingly accepts. John subsequently seeks refuge at the Continental, a hotel that exclusively caters to assassins with the rule that no business can be conducted on premises. When Viggo learns of this, he doubles the bounty. John learns from Winston (McShane), the owner of the Continental, that Viggo has Iosef protected at his night club the Red Circle. John goes to the club and kills Iosef's friend Victor (Moore) before dispatching most of the security staff, but Iosef escapes after John is subdued by Viggo's henchman Kirill (Bernhardt). John escapes back to the Continental to treat his wounds before being attacked by Ms. Perkins (Palicki), an assassin former acquaintance of John's who had taken the contract to kill him. John eventually subdues Perkins and forces her to reveal the location of Viggo's cash stash before leaving her with a neighbor and friend Harry (Peters) to await her punishment for breaking the hotel rules. Perkins eventually breaks free and kills Harry.
John goes to a church which is a front for the cash stash, eliminates all the guards, and burns Viggo's money as well as hard drives and recordings containing evidence against government officials that Viggo uses as leverage over the city. When Viggo arrives at the church, John ambushes them, eliminating more henchmen before being subdued by Kirill. John is tied up and Viggo taunts him for causing trouble over a dog and thinking he could leave his old life behind. He leaves John to be tortured and killed by Kirill and another henchman, but Marcus, having chosen to protect John, kills the other henchman, allowing John to break free and kill Kirill. John then intercepts Viggo's car and forces him to reveal Iosef's location and pull the bounty, which Viggo begrudgingly does. John goes to the safe house where Iosef is hiding and kills all of the guards before killing Iosef.
Perkins sees that John and Marcus have been in contact and tells Viggo, who has Marcus tortured and killed in his home over his betrayal. Viggo contacts John about Marcus's death, luring John to his home where Perkins is waiting to ambush him. Before she can, she gets called to a secret meeting with Winston, who revokes her membership to the Continental for breaking the rules and has her executed. Winston calls John to inform him of a helicopter coming to the harbor to transport Viggo away. John races to the harbor and executes Viggo's remaining henchmen, he then gets into a fistfight with Viggo on the dock. Viggo pulls out a knife on John and as they fight, John makes Viggo stab him. John is wounded but is able to gain the upper hand by taking Viggo's knife and stabbing him in the side of the neck. Viggo tells John "I'll be seeing you", to which John answers "Yeah, I'll be seeing you". Viggo slumps over and dies, John ends up at a veterinary hospital to treat his wound before taking a pit-bull out of one of the cages for a walk on the boardwalk where he had his last date with his wife.

The Book of Life is a 2014 American 3D computer-animated adventure musical comedy film produced by Reel FX Creative Studios and distributed by 20th Century Fox. Co-written and directed by Jorge Gutierrez, the film stars the voices of Diego Luna, Zoe Saldana, and Channing Tatum with supporting roles by Christina Applegate, Ice Cube, Ron Perlman, and Kate del Castillo. The film was theatrically released on October 17, 2014.
A bus full of children arrives at a museum, where they are taken on a secret tour by a tour guide named Mary Beth (Christina Applegate), who tells them about the famous legends and myths of Mexican folklore. She leads them to a hidden room, containing the Book of Life, which holds the story of how the ways of their world were shaped.
She shows them a story that focuses on the Mexican town of San Angel and on two gods, La Muerte: Ruler of the Land of the Remembered (Kate del Castillo) where the spirits live on with their memories kept by their loved ones and Xibalba: Ruler of the Land of the Forgotten (Ron Perlman) where the forgotten souls decay into oblivion. During the Day of the Dead festival, the two spot three young children playing - Manolo and Joaquín, who are both in love with the same, free-spirited girl, María. Manolo comes from a family of bullfighters, but his real passion lies in music. Joaquín is more adventurous, hoping to avenge his father, a soldier who was killed by the sinister bandit Chakal (Dan Navarro).
Disguised as peasants, the two go down into the celebration. La Muerte, as an old woman, comes to Manolo (Diego Luna) and his father Carlos (Héctor Elizondo) who are at the grave of Manolo's mother Carmen and is given a loaf of bread by Manolo. Xibalba, as an old man trades the bread for a mystical medal that will make Joaquín (Channing Tatum) invulnerable to harm. Xibalba then bets La Muerte that María (Zoe Saldana) will end up marrying Joaquín while La Muerte bets on Manolo. The winner will be allowed to rule over the Land of the Remembered.
María later sets free a group of animals into the town after seeing a cute baby pig (Carlos Alazraqui) much to the chagrin of her father General Posada (Carlos Alazraqui). A wild boar comes into town and nearly gets Posada, but Manolo manages to lure the boar like a bullfighter and cause it to crash, but Posada believes it was Joaquín that saved him ignoring Manolo in favor of him. As punishment for her actions, Posada orders María to be sent to a private boarding school in Spain. Manolo gives her the baby pig that she wanted to save which Manolo names Chuy. María gives him a guitar after his old one is broken. On it is an engraving that says "Always play from your heart."
Over the years, Manolo is trained by his father into becoming a skilled bullfighter while Joaquín, with the help of the magic medal manages to become the town hero ("I Will Wait"). On the day of María's return, a celebration is held in town. Manolo and Joaquín see her and are captivated by her beauty. Manolo is set to fight a bull, but he has qualms over killing it. Although he is able to make it crash into the wall, he refuses to kill it, causing the audience to jeer him, but María applauds him for his compassion ("Creep").
During a party for María, Joaquín suggests that María ought to be with him so that he can make her happy, causing María to be angry and leave. Then, Manolo serenades her with a song from his heart ("I Love You Too Much"). Joaquín later proposes to María, saying that their marriage would keep Joaquín in San Angel, and make it safe from Chakal and his bandits. Manolo arrives and fights with Joaquín over María, then later tells María to meet him at dawn.
Fearing he will lose the wager, Xibalba turns his staff into a snake and sends it after Manolo. María follows a trail of candles to a tree outside town where Manolo professes his love to her, which she reciprocates ("Can't Help Falling in Love with You"). Then, the snake slithers into the area. María pushes Manolo out of the way, getting bitten by the snake. Manolo carries María's body back to San Angel, where both Joaquín and General Posada blame him for María's death. While mourning María, Xibalba appears before him and Manolo states that he will do anything to be with María again. Xibalba uses his staff to form a two-headed snake, which bites Manolo and kills him.
Manolo's spirit goes down to the Land of the Remembered where he meets his ancestors including his mother Carmen (Ana de la Reguera). With the help of his family, Manolo goes to La Muerte's castle which is now run by Xibalba due to Manolo dying. He explains that the snake bite only put María in trance and Joaquín revived her with the pin. Manolo vows to expose Xialba's treachery and return to the human realm.

The film follows the exploits of Alexander Cooper (Ed Oxenbould), an ordinary 11-year old boy, and his "terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day." Alexander is left out by his family; his older brother, Anthony (Dylan Minnette), his sister, Emily (Kerris Dorsey), his mother, Kelly (Jennifer Garner), his dad, Ben (Steve Carell), and their infant baby son, Trevor (Elise/Zoey Vargas).
The day before Alexander's twelfth birthday, he wakes up and finds gum in his hair, clipping it off with a pair of scissors. Anthony is trying to earn his driver's license so he can drive his girlfriend Celia (Bella Thorne) to prom, Emily is rehearsing for the title role in her school play of Peter Pan, Kelly is working for a publication company that is publishing a new children's book, and Ben, who has been unemployed for several months, has landed a job interview as a game designer for a video game company.
That same morning, Alexander attends school where he experiences another series of misfortunes, as well as finding out that his friends, including his crush Becky Gibson (Sidney Fullmer), and friend Paul (Mekai Curtis), will all be attending Phillip Parker's birthday party instead of his due to his expensive items and popularity. Alexander tries to tell his family how his day has gone, but finds out that no one really even listens to what he says. That evening, Anthony upsets Celia during a phone call while yelling at Alexander saying he is a "idiot brother", and Emily rehearses her lines in Kelly's Volvo and leaves a light on to rehearse for her play. Alexander serves himself a makeshift birthday sundae and wishes for his family to experience what he does everyday.
The next morning, Alexander wakes up to find his family in disarray; his parents have overslept, Emily is sick with a cold, and Anthony has found out that he and Celia have broken up. The battery in Kelly's car is dead, because Emily left the light on all evening while rehearsing, therefore Ben has to take Trevor with him to the interview, after dropping Kelly off at work. At school, Alexander is told that the other party for Phillip Parker has been cancelled due to Chicken Pox, and calls Ben and asks him to plan a party for him. Kelly is informed of a misprint in the book they are publicizing, and needs to stop Dick Van Dyke from reading the book at public reading later. Ben goes to the interview with Trevor and meets Greg (Donald Glover), although the meeting goes awry when Trevor ingests a highlighter.
Kelly manages to arrive at Dick Van Dyke's reading, though she is unable to convince him of the book's misprint. Van Dyke reads the book with the inappropriate material, humiliating himself and the publishing company. Meanwhile, Ben has purchased Cough syrup for Emily's worsening symptoms and takes Anthony to the Department of Motor Vehicles, where he fails his driving test and damages the family van. Alexander tells the family of his wish and apologizes, but Ben says "Apology not accepted" because they can still have some good in it. Afterwards, they all go to Emily's play, which is inadvertently sabotaged by her impaired actions due to her overdose of the medicine. The game design firm call Ben and ask him to meet them at a Japanese hibachi restaurant for a second meeting. The family, joined by Celia, go the restaurant where Ben has a minor accident, which causes embarrassment to the employers. The whole family consoles Ben, admitting that they will overcome whatever else the day has in store for them, Alexander states "You just gotta have the bad days so you can love the good days even more", along with Anthony deciding not to go to prom with Celia, stating that his family is more important and also breaks up with Celia completely.
The family returns home, and discover that Ben had hired a rental animal service to recreate an Australian petting zoo for Alexander's birthday party. The family then decide to pitch in to try and salvage the day by helping host Alexander's party. Ben and Kelly receive calls; Ben got the game design job, and Kelly has been informed that the celebrity reading went viral and has created publicity for the book. Reunited, Ben then brings out the cake, with Alexander wishing for more days like the one they shared together.

Fury is a 2014 American war film set during World War II written and directed by David Ayer. The film stars Brad Pitt, Shia LaBeouf, Logan Lerman, Jon Bernthal, Michael Peña, Jason Isaacs, and Scott Eastwood.
Rehearsing for the film began in early September 2013 in Hertfordshire, England, followed by principal photography began on September 30, 2013, in Oxfordshire. Continuing filming for a month and half at different locations including Oxford, shooting for the film concluded on November 15. The film was released on October 17, 2014.
The film is set during the last month of the European Theater of war during World War II in April 1945. As the Allies make their final push into Nazi Germany, a battle-hardened U.S. Army sergeant in the 2nd Armored Division named Don "Wardaddy" Collier (Brad Pitt) commands an M4A3E8 Sherman tank called "Fury" and its five-man crew, consisting of Boyd "Bible" Swan (Shia LeBeouf), Grady "Coon-Ass" Travis (Jon Bernthal) and Trini "Gordo" Garcia (Michael Peña). After losing the assistant driver in battle, he gets a recently enlisted typist, Norman Ellison (Logan Lerman), as a replacement.
The crew, which has been together since the North African Campaign, initially despises Norman for his lack of experience and excessive compassion towards Germans (Norman refuses to shoot a captive German artilleryman, and cannot bring himself to shoot at Hitlerjugend teenagers because of their age), so Wardaddy makes Norman shoot a captive German soldier to break him of his innocence.
The bond between Norman and Wardaddy becomes stronger after capturing a small German town, where Wardaddy and Norman meet a German woman named Emma and her cousin. Norman sleeps with Emma, then joins Wardaddy and Emma's cousin for breakfast. However, the rest of the crew barge in and cause tensions while at the table. Shortly afterwards, a German bombardment hits the town, killing Emma and some of the American forces.
The platoon of tanks, led by Wardaddy, gets a mission to hold a vital crossing (protecting a clear way to supply trains), but after encountering a German Tiger I, only "Fury" remains. The vehicle is immobilized after hitting a landmine; shortly afterwards, a German column of three hundred Schutzstaffel (SS) infantry approaches. Wardaddy refuses to leave, and the rest of the crew, initially reluctant, decides to stay and plan an ambush.
Outnumbered and outgunned, Wardaddy and his men nevertheless inflict heavy losses on the Germans, but eventually Grady, Bible, and Gordo are all killed, and Wardaddy is wounded by a sniper. Norman and Wardaddy retreat back into "Fury" where they share their last words. Norman escapes through the bottom hatch of the tank and hides in the crater made by the landmine explosion, while Wardaddy stays behind and is killed by a grenade blast. A young German SS trooper finds Norman, but does not turn him in, leaving the assistant driver hidden safely beneath the destroyed tank as the surviving German soldiers move on.
The next morning, the U.S. Army discovers Norman, and it is revealed that the German offensive failed because of the crew's actions. Norman is taken off to safety while he looks back at the carnage of dead German SS troops and the destroyed "Fury".

Dracula Untold is a 2014 dark fantasy action-horror film directed by Gary Shore in his feature film debut and written by Matt Sazama and Burk Sharpless.[4] Rather than focus on Irish novelist Bram Stoker's 1897 novel Dracula, the film creates an origin story for its title character, Count Dracula, by portraying the story of Vlad the Impaler, of whom Stoker was unaware until he was well into writing that novel. Luke Evans portrays the title character, with Sarah Gadon and Dominic Cooper in supporting roles.
Principal photography began on August 5, 2013 in Northern Ireland. Universal Pictures released the film on October 10, 2014 in theatres and IMAX. Universal intends the film to be a reboot of the Universal Monsters franchises
In an opening montage the son of Vlad the Impaler recounts the history surrounding the legendary character known as Dracula, and how the stories tell of a monster. Seeking to dispel the legend, Vlad the Impaler's son recounts the events around which the one known as Dracula came to be.
In the middle ages the Sultan of Turkey sought to acquire and train boys in order to turn them into perfect soldiers who would hold no moral or ethical obligations. One such boy was Vlad, who became known as "the impaler" after his use of wooden stakes to display those whom he killed as a form of psychological warfare. Ultimately, Vlad was able to escape from his duty as a soldier, and was made the prince of Transylvania, a tribute territory to the Turkish Empire. While on a scouting mission in the woods Vlad and his team discover a Turkish helmet, and deduce that a scouting party of Turks have entered Transylvania territory. In their search for the party, Vlad and his men enter a cave in the mountains and encounter an ancient sorcerer and master vampire, who subsequently kills Vlad's men, and drives Vlad out of his lair.
The following day, as Vlad and his subjects celebrate Easter, the Turkish party arrives unexpected. Anticipating that they have come for the tribute, Vlad offers the party silver coins, but the envoy demands that 1,000 boys be given over for service in the Turkish army. Vlad turns down the request, but lacks an effective armed force to compel the Turks to leave Transylvania in peace. After a failed attempt at diplomacy with the Turkish Sultan, Vlad skirmishes with a Turkish party that arrived to take his son for service in Turkish army. Realizing that he will need more power in order to defend his territory and his people, Vlad seeks out the vampire's cave and explains that he has need of the vampire's power. After listening to his story and cautioning him about the risks, the vampire offers Vlad some of his blood, which infuses Vlad with the powers of the night. The vampire explains that this power will last for three days, during which time Vlad will be tempted to drink human blood, but if he can withstand the urge for all three days he will be restored to his human form, also warning Vlad that he will be released from his prison if Vlad accepts his curse.
Upon his return from the cave Vlad observes a Turkish siege of Castle Dracula, and single-handedly takes on the besieging force, killing them all. Determined to protect his people at all costs, Vlad instructs the party to fall back to a mountain monastery whose geography will hinder any Turkish attempt to take the facility. It is here that Vlad meets Shkelgim, who dubs himself Vlad's servant and gives him blood, only for Vlad to show hostility and refuse the offer. During the second night, the Transylvanian party is ambushed by Turkish forces, and Vlad and his men engage them. Although victorious in the engagement Vlad's powers begin to attract attention from his closest advisers. The next day at the monastery, as Vlad attempts to rally his people ahead of the battle, his use of the demonic powers is exposed and the citizens at the monastery subsequently turn on Vlad, attempting to burn him to death in a tent. Angered over this perceived betrayal, Vlad- escaping the tent as the smoke created by the fire blocks out the sun- chastises his people before taking his leave.
That night, a massive Turkish force marches on the monastery. Vlad employs bats to defend the territory, however the incoming Turkish army turns out to be a decoy force deployed to allow a handful of Turks to infiltrate the monastery and kill the citizens within. Mirena's attempt to defend her son from the Turks fails, and she ultimately falls to her death despite Vlad's attempt to save her. Angered over the loss of his wife, Vlad embraces the darkness within himself and honors Mirena's last request to drink her blood to give him the strength to save their son before his time as a vampire expires. Returning to the monastery to find a handful of survivors, Vlad offers each the chance for vengeance, and gives them his blood to drink.
At the primary Turkish Army camp the Sultan and his men are preparing for a massive invasion of Europe when Vlad and his small band of vampires arrive. A battle erupts between the two forces, however Vlad's vampires are vastly superior to the Turkish soldiers, and the battle degenerates into a massacre. While the vampires take their vengeance on the Turkish forces Vlad seeks out the Sultan, who has taken his son captive. Aware of the vampire's weakness to silver, the Sultan has lined the floors of his tent with silver coins, and engages in a battle with Vlad using a silver sword. Ultimately, despite his use of silver to weaken Vlad and a wooden stake to try and impale his heart, the Sultan's attempt to kill Vlad fails, with Vlad turning briefly into a flock of bats to escape his assault and then drink his blood.
With his enemy vanquished, Vlad and his son emerge from the Sultan's tent, whereupon they are surrounded by the other vampires Vlad brought. Vlad's vampires demand to drink the child's blood, arguing that the child does not matter now that Vlad is prince to the vampires, but they are stopped by the unexpected presence of a Monk, who keeps the vampires at bay with a Christian cross. After consoling his son, Vlad instructs the monk to take him away, then uses his power to clear the cloud coverage. The absence of the clouds results in the death of the vampires as they are unable to withstand the effects of direct sun contact.
In the aftermath of the battle, Vlad is presumed dead and the Turkish army defeated, leaving Europe safe from invasion and occupation. Vlad's son is crowned the new prince of Transylvania, and the name Dracula is passed down to future generations as a legend. Finding him in his near death state, Shkelgim finds and revives Vlad, who then remains out of the public eye.
In the present day, a woman named Mina who strikingly resembles Mirena is approached by a man who complements her flowers and recites her favorite piece of poetry, seemingly by coincidence. The man introduces himself as "Vlad", and the two depart together. Unbeknownst to him, Caligula has also survived the centuries of time and proceeds to follow them, reciting the very words that he said to Vlad prior to turning him into a vampire: "Let the games begin."

Gone Girl is a 2014 American mystery film directed by David Fincher. It was adapted by Gillian Flynn from her 2012 novel of the same name. It stars Ben Affleck, Rosamund Pike, Neil Patrick Harris, Tyler Perry, and Carrie Coon. The film had its world premiere on opening night of the 52nd New York Film Festival on September 26, 2014. It had its nationwide theatrical release on October 3 and received positive reviews from critics.

On the day of his fifth wedding anniversary, Nick Dunne (Affleck) returns home to find that his wife Amy (Pike) is missing. Her disappearance creates a media frenzy, and his awkward behavior and lies surrounding the marriage are interpreted by the media and public as characteristics of a sociopath, implicating him for her apparent murder. Flashback sequences told from Amy's perspective reveal the disintegration of their once-happy marriage: They both lose their jobs during the recession, and Amy has to move away from her beloved New York City home to stay in Nick's hometown of North Carthage, Missouri when his mother is diagnosed with cancer. Nick, meanwhile, has become lazy, distant, and unfaithful to Amy. Detective Rhonda Boney (Dickens) finds that Nick knows surprisingly little about his wife's day-to-day life, including that she is pregnant. She also uncovers evidence indicating financial troubles and domestic disputes, as well as a report indicating Amy wanted to purchase a gun. As this evidence mounts against him, Nick becomes the prime suspect.
Amy is revealed to be alive and to have staged her murder to frame Nick as revenge for his infidelity. Her diary also incriminates him. Hastily mopped-up blood on the floor, traces of blood splatter in the surrounding area, and a crushed coffee table all were arranged by Amy on the day of her disappearance to suggest that Nick killed her during a struggle. Amy also befriended a pregnant neighbor, Noelle Hawthorne, and stole her urine in order to fake her own pregnancy. Hiding at a distant motel under the guise of 'Nancy', Amy has changed her appearance to start anew, believing Nick will get the death penalty for killing her.
Just as it appears that her plan has succeeded, Amy is robbed in her motel room, losing the thousands of dollars in cash she intended to use to start a new life. Left with only her car and no place to stay, she frantically calls her wealthy ex-boyfriend, Desi Collings (Harris), against whom she filed a restraining order years before. Amy convinces Desi that she ran from Nick because she feared for her life. Desi believes he has finally won her heart and agrees to hide Amy in his luxury lake house.
Nick finds evidence of Amy's plot against him and convinces his twin sister Margo (Coon) of his innocence. As the media continues to antagonize Nick, the siblings hire a defense attorney, Tanner Bolt (Perry), who specializes in defending husbands accused of killing their wives, to improve Nick's public perception. After Nick's ex-student and mistress, Andie (Ratajkowski), reveals their year-long affair at a press conference, Nick appears on a talk show to tell his side of the story. He apologizes for his failures as a husband and claims that all he wants is for Amy to come home. His story is convincing enough to turn around the public's perception and rekindle Amy's feelings for him.
Amy plans her escape, taking advantage of the security cameras to act as if Desi had raped her, as well as penetrating herself with a wine bottle to simulate forced entry. The next day, Amy seduces Desi and slices his throat with a box cutter during sex. She returns home covered in blood, in view of the television crews parked outside, and tells the press that Desi kidnapped and raped her, clearing Nick of all wrongdoing. Tanner can no longer help Nick, and while Boney finds the circumstances suspicious, Amy's story arouses enough sympathy that the police believe the case is settled.
After stripping Nick naked and talking in the shower to avoid bugging devices, Amy admits to the murder and her reasons for her return. She tells Nick that the man she watched pleading for her return was the man she married and that she wants him to be that person again. Nick intends to leave her, and expose her lies.
Before a television interview Amy reveals she is pregnant, having used sperm Nick stored at a fertility clinic. Nick reacts violently, slamming her against the wall, but he feels responsible for the child. Despite the objections of his sister, Nick decides to stay with Amy, and they announce on television that they are expecting a baby together.

Annabelle is a 2014 American supernatural horror film directed by John R. Leonetti, produced by James Wan, and written by Gary Dauberman. It is both a prequel to and spin-off of The Conjuring.[4] The film stars Annabelle Wallis, Ward Horton, and Alfre Woodard. The film was released worldwide on October 3, 2014.[5]
Annabelle premiered at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, Los Angeles on September 29, 2014.
The film starts with the same opening scene from The Conjuring, in which two young women and a young man in 1968 are telling Ed and Lorraine Warren about their experience with a doll they believe to be haunted, known as Annabelle.
One year earlier in 1967, John and Mia Gordon are expecting their first child. John gives her a doll that she apparently has been trying to find. Mia loves it and puts it with the rest of her doll collection in their baby's room.
At night, Mia hears a murder happening at the Higgins', their neighbours, home. She tells John and he goes over to investigate. Mia calls the police and is about to head back outside when she is attacked by a woman with Mia's new doll and the male murderer. John and the police arrive and kill the man while the woman kills herself in another room. She left a bloody symbol drawn on the wall while holding Mia's new doll. A drop of her blood falls on the doll's face and sinks into its eye. A news report is shown that the assailants were Annabelle Higgins and her boyfriend. They murdered her parents and are said to have been part of a satanic cult.
The doctors say that Mia's baby is fine but there was damage to her cervix. She is ordered to stay bedridden for the remainder of her pregnancy, so John takes care of Mia as she recovers. Thinking the doll is creepy and involved with the mysterious happenings, Mia asks John to throw it away. He dumps it in a bin outside. Later, a fire starts by itself in the kitchen, before Mia finally notices. She tries to run out of the house but is dragged by an unseen force and she falls on her stomach. A group of men run into the house and pull her out. John, who works at the hospital, runs to find Mia. She is unharmed, but she gave birth to a healthy baby girl, named Lea. The family moves into a new apartment since Mia is afraid to return home. In their new place, Mia unpacks her dolls and finds the new doll, that was previously being thrown out, now known as Annabelle, in one of the boxes. Mia just places it alongside the other dolls. As expected, more strange activity plagues Mia and her new baby.
Mia contacts the detective that told them earlier about the murders Annabelle and her boyfriend committed. He informs her of their history in the cult called The Disciples of the Ram that seeks to summon a demon by claiming a soul. This also explains the symbol that Mia keeps seeing. Mia goes to a bookstore run by a woman named Evelyn. She gets a book called "The Devil's Welcome". From that, Mia determines that the presence that is haunting her wants a soul - Lea's. The couple contacts their church's priest, Father Perez, who takes Annabelle with him to church. The ghost of Annabelle is nearby, along with a demonic-looking creature, who attack him and the doll is gone. John treats Perez at the hospital while Mia meets with Evelyn. Evelyn tells Mia that she had a daughter named Ruby that was around Mia's age when she died. Ruby died in a car accident caused by Evelyn. She was so distraught and guilt-ridden that she attempted suicide by cutting her wrists. However, she claims to have heard Ruby's voice telling her that it wasn't her time.
Perez warns John that it was indeed Annabelle's spirit that caused his injuries, and that she will take a soul that night. John rushes to warn Mia. In the apartment, the demonic presence haunts Mia and Evelyn. It pushes Evelyn out of the apartment and taunts Mia by locking her outside of Lea's room where the baby sits beneath the bookshelf. The demon thretens to kill Lea for her soul, before Mia attempts to kill Annabelle. The demon then asks for Mia's soul instead after Mia screams for what it wants from her. John runs home as Evelyn is trying to open the door. They both break it open to find Mia ready to jump out the window with Annabelle in her hands. John pulls Mia back in before she jumps, saying there must be another way. Evelyn grabs Annabelle and decides to make the sacrifice, knowing this is the way she can atone for Ruby's death. She plunges out of the window and hits the pavement. Lea is found, heard in her crib, safe and sound. John and Mia mourn for Evelyn as they embrace their daughter.
Six months later, the Gordons have moved on and have not seen Annabelle since then. Elsewhere, a woman (the mother of one of the girls in the opening) comes into a store looking for a present for her daughter and ends up purchasing Annabelle. The ending text states that the real Annabelle doll resides in a case in Ed and Lorraine Warren's little museum,which is the opening scene of The Conjuring; and that it's blessed by a priest twice a month. A quote from Lorraine Warren states that evil is real, and while we can contain it, we can never get rid of it. The film ends with the camera lingering on Annabelle as though she'll make a move, before cutting to black.

The Equalizer is a 2014 American thriller film directed by Antoine Fuqua and written by Richard wenk, based on the television series of the same name. The film stars Denzel Washington, Marton Csokas, Chloë Grace Moretz, David Harbour, Melissa Leo, Haley Bennett and Bill Pullman.

Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) is a retired black ops government operative who lives in Boston, Massachusetts and works at a hardware store Home Mart, where he befriends many of His co-workers and also tries to help a Mexican named Ralph security trainees pass His qualification exam. McCall has promised His recently-deceased wife that he'd leave His old life behind, but is compelled to act after His teenage friend Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz) whose real name is Alina, was seen being mistreated by her pimp. Alina's life was destroyed at the age of five or six when she was a victim of sex trafficking by the Russian Mafia and then became their sex slave and forced into prostitution.
Robert vows to save her after she is hospitalized after being brutally beaten by her pimp, Slavi (David Meunier). McCall enters the Russian mob territory and tries to Convince Slavi to release Alina by paying him $ 9,800 (a price Slavi Constantly remarks as being 'nine thousand dollars' instead), but refuses Slavi, taking this as an insult to him. McCall pretends to walk away, but turns back and Takes out Slavi and his men with their own weapons all in under half a minute. He leaves Slavi to Drown in His own blood, telling him that he had accepted the money shouldnt. Leaving the scene, McCall Removes the footage of all that security cameras had recorded him.
In Retaliation, Vladimir Pushkin (Vladimir Kulich), sends His enforcer, Teddy (Marton Csokas), from Moscow to Boston to find and eliminated the culprit. Meanwhile, Ralph withdrew His application for being a security guard and Home Mart His mother to help out at his family restaurant, Which was set fire to the day earlier by corrupt policemen as an act of extortion, Ralph tries to withhold something from McCall. McCall apprehends the corrupt policemen and Forces Them to pay back all the money They have gotten through extortion. Ralph His qualification test passes and becomes a security guard and Home Mart.
Teddy manages to pinpoint the culprit to be McCall, and is surprised by His skills and tries to capture him to use His skills instead of killing him. McCall, however, outsmarts all of His pursuers and Teddy's attempt to capture him, while completing more acts of vigilantism. After evading Several assassination and capture attempts, McCall visits fellow retired operatives Susan Plummer (Melissa Leo) and Brian Plummer (Bill Pullman) in Virginia, who help him acquire intelligence on Pushkin's activities and Teddy, who is found to be ex-Spetnaz, and whose real name is Nikolai. After McCall left, Susan remarks to Brian McCall that was not actually looking for help, but was actually asking for permission.
McCall then captures Frank Masters (David Harbour), a corrupt policeman Bostonian who has been aiding Teddy, by trapping him in His car and threatening him by flooding the vehicle with gas. Frank McCall relents and helps destroy a Pushkin's money laundering operations in Boston. McCall also uses Frank's information to slowly destroy Pushkin's empire. While having dinner with a mobster, Teddy cuts a call from Pushkin, while McCall sits opposite of him and hands him the previous mobster's broken and bloody shades, and also His contact number. Unsatisfied with Teddy's lack of progress and the failure of His money laundering operations, Pushkin threatens Teddy McCall to either kill or not come home to Moscow. Teddy reacts angrily after the call, and stops wanting to capture McCall and wanting to kill him instead.
In Retaliation for blowing up Pushkin's McCall container ship meant for smuggling, Teddy and his men attack Home Mart and take Ralph and the workers of Home Mart hostage to lure him out, threatening to kill Them if he does not surrender. McCall travels to the place and attempt evades an ambush set up by Teddy's snipers. He enters the store and disables most of the lighting, and then kills Teddy's henchmen one by one through the use of booby traps, after telling Ralph to get everybody out and leave nobody behind. After a struggle Between McCall and one of Teddy's heavier men, Ralph comes back to help out McCall, but gets shot in the leg.
Ralph McCall ŢĖŁŀŞ to turn on the electricity after an exact time of 40 seconds, giving him His watch. A contraption of chemicals in a microwave that McCall was set up by the electricity turned on, causing an explosion that kills the last of Teddy's men. Teddy is lured to Ralph, and gets shot Several times by McCall's nail gun, who finishes him with a shot to the throat.
McCall then travels to Moscow, Russia and kills Pushkin's guards, and sets up an electrical trap to kill Pushkin himself, after Pushkin tried to offer him money. McCall returns to Boston, where he reunites with Alina, who has recovered from her wounds and thanks him for giving her a second chance. McCall is inspired to continue using His skills to help people in desperate need and puts an ad online, identifying himself as "The Equalizer". He soon receives another plea for help and sets off to answer it. .

The Boxtrolls is a 2014 American 3D stop motion animated fantasy-comedy film based on the novel Here Be Monsters! by Alan Snow. Produced by Laika, it was directed by Graham Annable and Anthony Stacchi. The Boxtrolls Follows the adventures of Eggs, a human boy raised by trash-collecting trolls, as he attempts to save Them from Archibald Snatcher, a pest exterminator. The film stars Isaac Hempstead-Wright, Ben Kingsley, Elle Fanning, Toni Collette, Jared Harris, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Richard Ayoade and Tracy Morgan. [5] It was released on September 26, 2014, to Generally positive reviews.
In the European town of Cheesebridge, rumors abound that Subterranean trolls Known as Boxtrolls kidnap and kill young children. Archibald Snatcher strikes a deal with Lord Portley-Rind, offering to exterminate every Boxtroll in exchange for membership in the White Hats, a group of cheese-loving aristocrats led by Lord Portley-Rind that serves as the town council.
The Boxtrolls prove to be peaceful creatures, wearing cardboard boxes, who emerge from underground at night to scavenge through the trash for items They can use to make inventions. A baby boy named Eggs Them our lives, cared for by a Boxtroll named Fish. As Eggs grows up over a period of ten years, he becomes dismayed over the Disappearing Boxtrolls Snatcher's due to capture of them.
Lord Portley-Rind's neglected daughter Winnie grows frustrated and being ignored His white hat and throws out a window. Leaving the house to retrieve it, she sees Eggs rummaging through trash with two Boxtrolls. Snatcher and his men chase and capture the trio Fish. Devastated, Eggs puts together a disguise and sneaks back up to the surface to find him. Eggs emerges in the midst of an annual fair to commemorate the disappearance of the Trubshaw Baby eleven years earlier - presumably Kidnapped and killed by Boxtrolls. Disgusted by the town's inaccurate portrayal of the creatures, He Follows Winnie away from the fair. She recognizes him as the boy she saw the previous night and directs him to Snatcher's headquarters, an abandoned factory.
Sneaking into the factory, Fish Eggs finds locked in a cage and frees him. Meanwhile, Snatcher holds a cheese tasting with His henchmen, Mr. Gristle, Mr. Trout, and Mr. Pickles, as preparation for Becoming a White Hat but, seemingly having no sense of irony, suffers a severe allergic reaction that causes grotesque swelling. Fish eggs and try to sneak out of the factory only to be caught by Mr. Gristle. Eggs Snatcher recognizes as the Trubshaw Baby and reveals that all the captured Boxtrolls are still alive and building a machine. Winnie overhears this exchange, having followed Eggs to the factory. They Both escape from Fish Snatcher and take shelter in the Boxtrolls' underground cavern.
Winnie is surprised to learn the truth about the Boxtrolls, Eggs and convinces that he is not one of them. His father had given him to Them as a baby in order to keep him safe from Snatcher. Winnie agrees to help Eggs Portley-Rind tell the truth. And a ball that night, held to commemorate the purchase of a giant cheese wheel, Eggs tries to confront Portley-Rind. He narrowly avoids capture by a disguised Snatcher, but inadvertently knocks the cheese down the stairs so that it rolls into a river. Eggs announces himself to the crowd as the Trubshaw Baby, but no one believes him and Lord Portley-Rind throws him out in a fury over losing His beloved cheese.
Eggs returns to the cavern and tries to persuade the remaining Boxtrolls that They need to flee for their own safety. Snatcher digs into the cavern using His machine, captures the entire group, and Takes Them back to the factory. Eggs, Imprisoned in a cage in the basement, awakens to find His real father, Herbert Trubshaw - captured years ago by Snatcher and held prisoner ever since - hanging upside down next to him. He sees the Boxtrolls stacked in a crusher and begs Them to run, but the crusher activates and flattens all the boxes.
Snatcher Drives His machine to Lord Portley-Rind's house, shows him the flattened boxes as proof of the Boxtrolls' deaths, and demands Portley-Rind's white hat once he kills the last one (actually Eggs dressed up as a Boxtroll). Winnie persuades Mr. Trout and Mr. Pickles to redeem themselves by not killing Eggs. The Boxtrolls Suddenly arrive with Herbert, having sneaked out of their boxes just before the crusher activated, and free Eggs. An infuriated Snatcher tries to take Portley-Rind's hat by force, but Eggs, Herbert, and the Boxtrolls disable the machine. Snatcher and eggs are thrown clear and land on the giant cheese wheel, freshly fished out of the river. Snatcher swells into a giant and forces Hideous Lord Portley-Rind to give up His hat in exchange for Winnie's safety. Snatcher triumphantly enters the cheese tasting room, but unconcerned about His allergy, explodes after taking one bite of a rare cheese.
The townspeople no longer see the Boxtrolls as monsters and come to live Peacefully with them. Winnie ŢĖŁŀŞ the tale of Snatcher's end to a crowd of people, while Fish Eggs and drive off in one of Herbert's contraptions.

Dolphin Tale 2 is a 2014 American family drama film written and directed by Charles Martin Smith and His sequel to 2011 film Dolphin Tale. Rufus Takes a liking to the turtle and acts as it's bodyguard, when Mavis They release it's better when Rufus goes along with Mavis. They find an orphaned baby dolphin and plans on pairing her up with Winter, the dolphin names Hazel, Hope. At first Hope and Winter do not get along due to Hope being afraid by the way how Winter Winter swims and does not have a tail. They attach when a new modified version of a tale onto Winter, Hope and her bond and Winter does not have to do a transfer. All is well, and Sawyer decides to go on the trip.
